Account & Data Deletion
Last updated: April 21, 2026. You can permanently delete your NiveLine account and all associated data at any time.
What data is deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently erased from our systems:
- Your profile information (username, display name, bio, avatar)
- All messages you have sent and received
- All conversations and group chats you participated in
- Stories and media files you have uploaded
- Your contact list and any contact requests
- Passkeys and device registrations linked to your account
- Authentication tokens and active sessions
- Push notification tokens
Aggregated, anonymised analytics that cannot be linked back to your identity are not subject to deletion.
Method 1 — Delete directly in the app (recommended)
The fastest way to delete your account is directly from within the NiveLine app. Your account will be deleted immediately.
- Open the NiveLine app and sign in.
- Tap the Settings tab (bottom navigation).
- Go to Account.
- Scroll down and tap Delete My Account.
- Confirm the deletion in the dialog that appears.
Method 2 — Request via e-mail
If you are unable to access your account, you can submit a deletion request by e-mail. We will process your request within 30 days.
Send an e-mail to the address below. Please include your registered username or e-mail address in the message body so we can locate and delete the correct account.

In-app deletions are processed immediately — your account data is removed from our active systems in real time. For e-mail requests, we aim to complete deletion within 30 days of receiving your request. Backups are purged on their regular rotation schedule (maximum 90 days).
